If you have not heard the news yet, Shakti has moved to Burgess 🌞
There were many reasons for our decision, primary being both Ola and I have aging parents who need a lot more of our time. I have decided to keep a few classes over the summer with Michaela (Aela) at Burgess location with an more classes with me to be added in September.
Summer Schedule @Burgess
Starting Thursday 11th July, we will be offering
Gentle Yoga at 5:15 PM
Beg. Belly Dance at 6:15PM
Drop In rate for both classes are $15
Summer classes will be from the 11th of July thru 22nd of August for 7 weeks with a total of 14 classes.
Hydration is key: Ensure you drink ample water, herbal teas, and refreshing beverages such as chrysanthemum to stay hydrated and lower internal heat.
Engage in Soothing and Gentle Yoga: Concentrate on the Chest, Neck, Arms, Shoulders, Shoulder Blades, Wrists, and Fingers to activate and balance energy channels. This practice aids in calming both the mind and body, fostering relaxation and reducing excessive heat levels.
Embrace Relaxation Techniques: Engage in yoga nidra, meditation, deep breathing, and mindfulness to decrease stress, uphold emotional equilibrium, and diminish over excitement and the inclination for overexertion.
